SAMSØ SUP RACE IS BACK!
A fun and pro race where it's all about giving the gas on the water but equally about having fun, having fun and trying your hand at a growing water sport.
Fun race distance is 3 km.
Pro race distance 9 km.
It costs DKK 100 to participate and you can bring your own equipment or borrow from SamSurf. If you want to borrow a race-board, this can be rented for 50kr. extra.

Intro Course to the Race Discipline
If this is your first time participating in a SUP competition, it can be reassuring to choose this mini intro course for. Here the instructors give you tips and tricks for Saturday's event. You get to know the equipment. And get some tactical input:) The course is held at Ballen Strand v. Værfte.
- Free equipment loan - please note in your registration if you wish.
- A fun and informal sport where we focus on exercise in the open air and good surf atmosphere on the beach.
- Goodie-bags the first 20 contestants.

- Prizes for fastest over the finish line in men's, women's and junior categories, respectively.
Whether you are a beginner, easily trained or a tanned paddler you are welcome on this day. We celebrate the diversity and approachability of watersports.
You can bring your own paddleboard (inflatable or fixed), paddle, leash and swimming vest and participate on this.
If you are not the owner of your own equipment you can borrow this from SamSurf free. Please let us know in your registration.
If you want a wetsuit, this can also be borrowed free of charge on the day.
All participants must wear:
- sportswear that tolerates getting wet or wetsuit.

- Changing clothes
- Drinks and packed lunch (you will be handed a goodie bag with a snack and water)
It is our responsibility when we walk on the water and we therefore take care of ourselves and each other.
